Sean Monks | Multi-Instrumentalist • Studio Engineer • Session Artist
BOOKING & INQUIRIESFor over three decades, I've operated at the intersection of musical performance and technical precision. As a session musician and multi-instrumentalist, my goal is to provide more than just notes—I provide the foundation upon which your art can soar.
With 35 years of experience spanning live stages and high-stakes studio environments, I bring a seasoned perspective to every project. My background as a professional audio engineer means that I don't just understand how to play an instrument; I understand the physics of sound, the demands of the mix, and the necessity of technical perfection in the recording process.
While my roots are firmly planted in the low-end, my versatility extends across the full spectrum. Whether providing deep, driving bass lines, intricate synth textures, melodic guitar work, or complex percussion, I aim to create a cohesive sonic landscape. I am equally at home performing on the Chapman Stick as I am crafting layered arrangements for video games and published recordings.
From the studio to the stage, I provide the technical expertise and musical passion required to bring your vision to life.

Graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS). Expertly equipped for both studio production—handling everything from large format consoles to "in-the-box" workflows—and live environments, including complex playback/sync systems for tour-ready performances.
While rooted in the intricate landscapes of Progressive Rock, my expertise spans 80s Pop, 90s Grunge, and modern contemporary trends. From heavy low-end foundations to layered synth textures, I provide a diverse palette for any project.
